Renkus-Heinz Expands C Series Line with Compact CA/CX121M Stage Monitor

by | Audio, Gear, News, Production

Renkus-Heinz has announced the new CA/CX121M, a compact stage monitor/multipurpose loudspeaker. It’s designed for a wide range of applications that’s the newest member of the company’s C Series.

“The CA/CX121M is the culmination of extensive customer and market feedback,” says Brandon Heinz, Product Manager at Renkus-Heinz. “The addition of the CX/CA121M supports the totality of the C series as an innovative stage monitor, delivering exceptional performance and consistent coverage at a very attractive price point.”

Available in both passive (CX121M) and powered (CA121M) models, the single 12-inch stage monitor utilizes coaxial driver technology designed to provide identical horizontal and vertical off axis performance. This allows artists greater freedom of movement without changes in frequency response. It’s made possible with acoustically time aligned point source, phase coherent devices.

Designed not only as a stage monitor, the CA/CX121M can also fulfill portable and installed PA functions. It can be used as a pole-mounted main loudspeaker or side fill using the optional pole adapter. Also, the UBRKT/CT121M mounting yoke is available to facilitate permanent installation configurations.

The plywood cabinet, available in black or white, is equipped with discreet recessed handles. The perforated steel grille is designed to withstand the rigors of the road and provide driver protection.

The optional SA625 power amplifier matches the power needs of the CA121M, providing more optimized processing for performance and protection. Controlled via RHAON II, the SA625’s built-in DSP has eight parametric EQ filters, high- and low-shelf and high- and low-pass filters, and up to 358 milliseconds of delay. All options are accessed via a Windows computer running RHAON II. In addition, a single CA121M can power one additional CX121M with bi-amplified, processed output via an NL4 output.

The CA121M-RD stage monitor adds Dante digital signal distribution capability, including AES67 compatibility and network redundancy. Go here for more specifics.
