TASCAM Announces New TM-70 Dynamic Microphone For Broadcast Applications

by | Gear, News, Production

TASCAM has announced the new TM-70 dynamic microphone, designed as a hybrid of supercardioid and dynamic element to be resistant to ambient noise and tuned to handle the nuances of the human voice, making it a choice for applications such as live broadcasting, podcasting, film dialog, and audio streaming.

The TM-70 has a supercardioid polar pattern and a stated frequency response of 30 Hz to 20 kHz. It’s engineered to capture what it is pointed at, isolating sound sources such as directional dialog.

The TM-70 package ships a shock-mount designed to reduce low-frequency rumble, a 6-foot mic cable and a table-top mic stand expected to be available Q1, 2021.
