Focusrite Pro Introduces New RedNet A16R MkII & RedNet D16R MkII Dante Interfaces

by | Audio, Gear, News, Production

Focusrite Pro announces the release of two new products in the RedNet range of Dante-enabled Audio-over-IP interfaces: RedNet A16R MkII and RedNet D16R MkII, both offering the same feature set as their predecessors but with the addition of level controls for individual input and output channels.

The A16R MkII is a 16 x 16 line-level interface designed to deliver 16 channels of analog audio on or off a Dante Audio-over-IP network, with the D16R MkII is a 16 x 16 AES3 interface for linking digital audio equipment (such as consoles and power amplifiers) and a Dante network. Both have dual PSUs and primary and secondary networks for redundant operations, with audio switchover in case of power loss or network failure,

The new functionality is intended to provide more precise calibration of all inputs and outputs in order to make the process of accurate alignment of connected equipment more straightforward. Changes to input and output levels – in 1 dB increments – are made using the included RedNet Control software.

New device profiles for the A16R MkII and D16R MkII in RedNet Control offer a trim fader for adjusting input and output levels in 1 dB increments. Additional software controls for dim and mute add flexibility over independent I/O channels.

The new RedNet A16R MkII and RedNet D16R MkII are both available now.
