MEGA-LITE Experience at USITT Expo 2025

by | Gear, Lighting, Production

From March 5 to 8, MEGA-LITE proudly participated in the USITT Expo 2025. This marks the fifth time the company has joined this premier event, which brings together the performing arts design and technology communities. The expo fosters dynamic conversations among students, educators, and industry professionals, providing an invaluable platform for innovation and collaboration.

At the MEGA-LITE booth, attendees had the opportunity to experience the company’s theatrical luminaire family firsthand. Designed to enhance performers both on and off stage, showcased fixtures included the Framebot 600, the Dramas FS-LED 700 & 900, the Drama LED W50 and the Dramas EW200 & EC200. For control, the MEGA Console and the Total Control D2 were utilized, demonstrating their seamless integration and ease of use. In addition to the theatrical luminaires, several Light Trusses were raised to handle lighting fixtures from the top, providing attendees with a full-scale demonstration of MEGA-LITE’s powerful and versatile lighting solutions.

A major highlight of this year’s exhibition was the Teclight, a new addition to MEGA-LITE’s family of statics luminaires. This versatile fixture serves as blue/running light and has a tunable white from cool to warm, offering a reliable solution for efficiently illuminating offstage areas. Another standout was the Followbot Compact 1000W LED, which captivated visitors with its powerful compact design, ideal for short to midsize applications, delivering unmatched precision and brilliance to lighting designers and operators alike.

“We love being part of USITT! Seeing students’ excitement as they test our lighting gear is incomparable. It’s also great to connect with teachers and industry partners as we help shape the next generation of entertainment professionals.” said Guillermo Cabada, Marketing Director at MEGA-LITE.

MEGA-LITE extends its gratitude to USITT for hosting another successful event and for fostering a space where industry leaders and aspiring professionals can engage with the latest advancements in entertainment technology. We look forward to continuing our commitment to innovation and collaboration in the years to come.
