IDIS Americas Showcases Extended Range of Edge AI Cameras with Advanced Video Analytics

by | Facilities, Products, Security, Security Connections

These new IDIS Edge AI cameras integrate deep learning video analytics for unprecedented accuracy and speed during live viewing and forensic searches. Purpose-built for commercial applications, public spaces, and perimeters, these cameras include features such as nighttime vision powered by IDIS LightMaster NIR Technology and plug-and-play functionality for a cost-effective solution that meets heightened security demands.

“Security professionals are increasingly looking for cost-effective ways to increase the accuracy and speed of their surveillance and forensic activities,” said David deLisser, VP Product Management , IDIS Americas. “Our new IDIS Edge AI Cameras are a force multiplier, strategically reducing false alarms and enabling a rapid response to intrusion, line crossing, and loitering events.”

Twelve new IDIS Edge AI cameras are equipped with IDIS Deep Learning Engines that boast up to 98% accuracy. The new 2MP and 5MP bullets, dome, and turret models feature IDIS LightMaster NIR technology for evidential image capture even in complete darkness. Additional features include true WDR and H.265 combined with IDIS Intelligent Codec for significant storage and bandwidth savings, audio in and out, IK10 and IP67 ratings, IDIS Smart Failover, ONVIF support, and more.

The 4MP AI PTZ Camera (DC-S6481HRA) provides dual tracking options for monitoring suspicious individuals or objects. The first option involves automated tracking, relying on personalized, pre-set events through IDIS Deep Learning Analytics. Alternatively, users can opt for manual tracking using the complimentary client software, IDIS Center VMS, by simply selecting a person of interest with a mouse click. Both track subjects’ movements seamlessly and accurately over long distances using the power of AI. This enables more efficient and accurate surveillance operations to strengthen security and safety and reduce the likelihood of human error.
