RED & SKAARHOJ Bring Cinema Imagery to Broadcast Environments

by | News, Production, Streaming, Video

On Tuesday, December 14th, 2022, RED Digital Cinema and SKAARHOJ hosted a live webinar discussing their recent successful efforts in fully integrating the RED KOMODO 6K and V-RAPTOR 8K cinema cameras with SKAARHOJ’S universal RCPs. Hosts Kasper Skarhoj (SKAARHOJ) and James Lucarelli (RED) walked viewers through the two systems working seamlessly in broadcast environments and showcased a recent large integration at Saddleback Church, where 12 of the KOMODO cameras were set up with 10 SKAARHOJ RCP2 switchers in a fiber-backed network to support the Saddelback team in their efforts to continue raising the quality of their live broadcasted content. James and Kasper use this example, and others, to add more context and details to how users can directly control, and even color share their KOMODO or V-RAPTOR cameras from anywhere in the world using one of the SKAARHOJ Universal Controllers.

You can watch the replay of the livestream here.
