Shuttle’s 1.3-Liter PC Powers 16-Monitor Digital Signage Walls with Matrox QuadHead2Go

by | Facilities, News, Production, Video

Matrox Video announces that Shuttle Inc. has validated the Matrox QuadHead2Go Q155 multi-monitor controller appliance with its XPC DH02U barebone PC. This validation effort enables system integrators and AV installers with a compact approach to 16-monitor digital signage video walls.

The 1.3 liter-sized DH02U system is Shuttle’s first quad-HDMI-output, small-form-factor PC, offering up to 4K UHDp60 signals and 3D rendering support on every display channel. The Matrox QuadHead2Go Q155 controller expands the slim PC’s graphics and video wall capabilities by capturing a single HDMI video signal for display across up to four Full HD displays. QuadHead2Go Q155 appliances connected to each HDMI output allow AV professionals to drive DH02U-hosted digital signage content—including quad-Full HD, single-4K, and dual-/quad-4K resolution videos and images—across up to 16 Full HD monitors in classic rectangular and artistic layouts.

The DH02U barebone PC and QuadHead2Go controller pairing powers digital signage applications, including digital menu boards, interactive and information-based kiosks, retail and flight information displays, and more.

“Shuttle and Matrox have been long-time video wall partners, and this latest collaboration facilitates yet another quick, simple, and seamless ‘best practice’ to high-impact video walls,” said Tom Seiffert, Head of Marketing & PR Europe at Shuttle Computer Handels GmbH. “The joined Shuttle DH02U and Matrox QuadHead2Go solution makes it remarkably simple to now target higher-density-output, digital-signage-based video wall installations.”

“Signage professionals will benefit from the Shuttle DH02U barebone PC and Matrox QuadHead2Go multi-monitor controllers’ compact designs, straightforward connectivity, and flexible configuration options to customize and service a wide range of video wall projects,” said Bengt Hessel, EMEA Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the AV/IT Group at Matrox Video.
