CFX 2024 Wrap-Up and a Look at CFX 2025

by | CFX, CFX Community, Church Facilities Expo, Events, Training & Events

This year’s Church Facilities Expo is a wrap, and it was one for the record books! After two years in Dallas, the show moved to Chattanooga, TN, an area surrounded by other cities full of houses of worship, such as Charlotte, Atlanta, Nashville, Asheville, Huntsville, Memphis, Birmingham, and Gatlinburg. Attendees were excited about the change, and it brought in fun and exciting partnerships with Chik-fil-A and the Chattanooga-based Southern favorite, Moon Pies.

Also, for the first time, CFX was four conferences in one location: the Tech Arts Conference, the Facility Stewardship Conference, the Church Buildings Conference, and the Church Safety Conference. Attendees could register for just the conference they were interested in, or get an all-access pass allowing them to pick and choose sessions from all four conferences, where more sessions were offered than ever before. Attending any of the conferences also granted admission to the Expo, where they could explore good and services of interest to churches from more than 160 exhibitors.

Intensive Masterclasses, panel discussions, leadership collectives, and the Loudspeaker Demo which were popular features from previous years, returned this year, along with brand-new offerings, such as:

  • The Illuminated Integration Training Room, where attendees could get hands-on training in lighting
  • Allen & Heath University, which provided formal training in gain staging, monitor mixing, multiband compressors and dynamic EQs, and tips on improving your streaming mix
  • Sweetwater Lunch & Learn, a unique opportunity to learn how to direct for broadcast and other skills, while enjoying a free lunch.

Stream for free!

If you were unable to attend CFX this year, you can stream select sessions for free for the next 30 days. Two keynote sessions and three general sessions can be viewed as many times as you like, by your and your team, simply by registering here.

Back in 2025

After this year’s success, CFX is already scheduled to return to Chattanooga, September 22-24, 2025. Make sure to check the CFX homepage for updates, special early bird discounts, and to register!
