New for CFX 2023: Leadership Collective Sessions!

by | Administration, Church Facilities Expo, Leadership, Operations, Production, Team Development, volunteers

Church leaders, are always striving to maintain the balance between good leadership and the management of their ministries. With this comes joys as well as challenges. If you’re struggling with a particular issue that you can’t seem to figure out how to get past, Worship Facility and Church Facilities Expo (CFX) have an option that might help!

CFX Leadership Collectives are a brand new experience to help attendees to this year’s conference (October 9-11 in Dallas) go home with a custom strategy plan created specifically for your needs. Prior to the conference, attendees will be asked to fill out a survey to help us better understand your needs and goals. When you arrive at CFX, you’ll have three 90-minute sessions to work with your peers and other church leader coaches to collaborate and find solutions to your problems. You’ll be assigned a table with other church leaders with similar roles, which will become your Collective. We encourage you to stay connected with your special Collective group during and after the event.

Our expert coaches will give you best practices and advice on how to solve various issues, and then you’ll have time to work together with your Collective and your coaches to create your unique action plan to implement in your church. After the event, we’ll provide some follow-up touchpoints with your coaches for added support and encouragement.

The goal is for you to walk away encouraged and emboldened to handle the challenges you’re facing today and to know that you’re not alone in your journey.

There are Collectives scheduled each of the three days of the conference. They are:

CFX LEADERSHIP COLLECTIVE: Business & Management

CFX LEADERSHIP COLLECTIVE: Worship Production

CFX LEADERSHIP COLLECTIVE: Facilities

CFX LEADERSHIP COLLECTIVE: Staff & Volunteer Development

The SM58: Good Enough for Bono, Good Enough for You

Today’s vocal mic market can be overwhelming—especially with wireless systems letting you change heads like you’re swapping pieces on a Lego X-Wing Fighter. A $100 SM58 capsule? Done. A Neumann KK 105 at ten times the cost? Yours if you’ve got the cash. For young...
