PPDS to Showcase A V Industry’s Most Energy Efficient Display Solutions at InfoComm 2023

by | AVL Projects, Gear, Production

PPDS, the exclusive global provider of Philips professional displays and complementary solutions, is delighted to confirm its attendance at InfoComm, June 14-16, with the launch of a brand new line of Ultra HD, ultra low energy Philips dvLED displays and a TAA compliant command center all planned for its Open2 themed booth in Orlando.

This year’s InfoComm marks the celebration of the first and highly successful anniversary of PPDS US becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of TPV, fully aligning the business with PPDS’ other global operations. Part of an accelerated growth phase, the transformation has taken the US business to the next level, delivering enhanced value and an extensive, and unrivalled suite of advanced solutions, supporting an extending number of customers and markets across North America. The full scale of these benefits and market opportunities will be evident for the first time at InfoComm, with the show hailed by the team as its most important yet.

Joining more than 600 other exhibitors at the Orange County Convention Center, visitors to this year’s Philips booth will be immediately immersed into a variety of dedicated business zones, with each showcasing the full future proof benefits and opportunities of PPDS’ multi-award-winning, dedicated digital signage, dvLED, interactive displays, monitors and AV software.

With specialist local and international PPDS teams – including global leaders – on hand and available for demonstrations and questions, solutions on show at InfoComm include those for education (Philips E-Line, Philips B-Line), retail (Philips H-Line, Philips D-Line), food and beverage (Philips S-Line, Philips Q-Line) and corporate (Philips T-Line). PPDS will also be showcasing the benefits of its TAA approved solutions for government use (Philips X-Line, Philips D-Line), demonstrating the benefits for a variety of environments, including for control rooms.

As a provider of total solutions, the Philips booth will also include a range of Philips monitors, as well as a number of solutions and representatives from PPDS’ valued third party partners, including Extron, Logitech, 22Miles, Navori Labs, Novisign, Skykit, Peerless-AV, and Vogel’s.

Nick Begleries, Commercial Vice President, North America, at PPDS commented: “We’re excited to once again be heading to InfoComm in Orlando to showcase our latest innovations and groundbreaking products and to demonstrate our continuing evolution. In the past 12 months, since becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of TPV, PPDS in North America has grown from strength-to strength. The team continues to grow, and the great thing is, we’re only just getting started on that front.”

Open2 sustainability on display

With a strong emphasis on sustainability from show organisers, AVIXA, at this year’s event, PPDS is going the extra mile, with visitors able to experience a growing range of leading, world-first innovations. These have been designed to help enhance their green credentials by lowering energy consumption (including costs), extending product lifetimes without compromising on performance, and to gain more advanced remote management of their display fleets, reducing site visits.

PPDS will be showcasing the full benefits of its Philips dvLED portfolio, including the Philips L-Line 6000 series for 16:9, 21:9 and 32:9 display walls, and the versatile Philips L-Line 7000 series, which can flex to almost any indoor environment, both on display around the booth. And, extending the portfolio, delivering even greater energy efficiency, value and opportunities, PPDS will be unveiled an exciting new Philips dvLED series.

Zero to hero

One of the most anticipated and highly sought after solutions going on display at InfoComm 2023 will include PPDS’ multi award-winning Philips Tableaux Advanced Color ePaper (ACeP). The star of the show at ISE 2023, Philips Tableaux displays have opened an exciting new era for digital signage, with the innovative series becoming a pioneer for full color, energy efficient and eco-friendly digital signage.

From confidently colored menu boards to paper-free point of sale posters, the product – the first of its kind brought to market by a leading display manufacturer – is suitable for a wide range of environments, delivering full color static content 24/7, unplugged and without using a single kilowatt of energy, using only super low power when images are changed.

Open technology: open to you

There will also be a dedicated zone, showcasing the latest features and benefits of PPDS Wave, the company’s evolutionary cloud-based remote display management ecosystem, bringing a fresh, future proofed and efficiency focused approach to controlling and managing display fleets of any size. All this and much more at InfoComm 2023, Philips Booth 929.

Martijn van der Woude, VP Global Marketing and Business Development at PPDS, commented: “PPDS is becoming a well-respected, trusted brand in the North America market. With our innovative and transformative solutions, together with our unrivalled commitment to sustainability, we are disrupting the status quo, with a product portfolio that cannot be ignored during any tender process. With our global scale, we can support any project, no matter how big or small, be it for a single location, or across multiple locations around the world.”

Franck Racapé, VP Global Commercial, added: “As we continue to make positive noise, and increase our market share, we’re seeing the AV industry’s leading talents wanting to be a part of our journey. We’re delighted with the success being achieved in North America and can’t wait to demonstrate just how far the company has advanced in the past 12 months.”
