CFX 2022 Adds 3 Intensive Pre-Conference Masterclasses

The Church Facilities Conference and Expo (CFX) has announced it will now feature 3 pre-conference Masterclass intensive workshops for the 2022 conference this October. CFX Masterclasses are described as an opportunity for attendees to develop essential, rapidly evolving skills covering topics that every church needs. Each Masterclass will run from 1:00-5:00 PM on Monday, October 24th, and each will be taught by experts in their field. Conference organizers say Masterclass attendees should expect to have a highly interactive experience. 

The Pre-Conference Masterclasses include:

Essentials of Church Communications

If you’re in charge of communications for a church, this Masterclass will inspire and equip you to strategically direct the messaging of your brand or organization. 

What You’ll Learn:

  • The strategic role of a communications director
  • Strategic communication & discovering your voice
  • Branding, marketing, and creating brand ambassadors
  • Platforms and media to create & recycle killer content

Next Level Live Streaming

Geared towards the church that wants to go deeper with their live streaming broadcast, this intensive workshop will cover the specific skills and technology to dramatically improve your live stream practices.

  • Moving past mediocrity to audio excellence
  • Lighting techniques to enhance your congregation’s experience 
  • Secrets to live streaming like the pros
  • Developing cohesion and convergence with both your tech team and your leadership that really works

Church Security Planning

Unexpected events can occur. Minimizing threats and being prepared to handle them well is essential.

What You’ll Learn:

  • FBI Behavioral Analysis of individuals in crisis, plus using technology, handling abduction threats, maintaining safe childcare, and understanding liability exposure
  • Arming and training your church staff to stay safe and calm in the midst of a crisis moment
