64 Audio has announced the launch of new A3t Custom in-ear monitors that are outfitted with three balanced-armature drivers and crossover components joined by the company’s proprietary technologies.

“Our new A3t is a perfect tool for any audio engineer or musician looking for a neutral, balanced and musical reference monitor for live and recorded performance,” states Vitaliy Belonozhko, 64 Audio founder and chief sound designer. “And, in typical 64 Audio fashion, we are continuing to make our revolutionary technologies more accessible to audio professionals. With A3t, our tia technology is available at a new lower price point, along with LID and our patented apex and 3Dfit technologies.”

A3t specifications include:
• Frequency Response: 20 Hz – 20 kHz
• Crossover: Integrated 3-way passive crossover
• Transducer Configuration: 1 High, 1 Mid, 1 Low
• Sensitivity: 109 dB/mW (109 dB @ 1 kHz @ 1 mW (105 mV))
• Impedance: 11 ohms @ 1 kHz
• Isolation: 20 dB w/m20 module, -15 dB w/m15 module. Ships with M20 module standard.

“One of the first things you think when playing your initial reference track is ‘This sounds right’, pure and simple,” Belonozhko continues. “Usually when listening to an audio product, especially as a sceptic, you are able to quickly latch onto something that could’ve been done better. The A3t simply reproduces the mix without anything distracting you from the music. Everything sits in its proper place…capable bass, present mids, and smooth yet detailed highs. To fans of our A6t and A12t, this will be a very familiar sound.”

tia technology is designed to eliminated sound-altering tubes and dampers for a smoother and more musical frequency response. LID is a correctional circuit that presents a flat impedance to the amplifier, resulting in a sound devoid of artificial coloration. In addition, 3DFit is a way of manufacturing custom in-ear monitors to preserve the details of user/wearer ear impressions for a more comfortable fit. And, 64 Audio’s patented Air Pressure Exchange (apex) is a pneumatically interactive vent that releases air pressure in a sealed ear canal, designed to alleviate listener fatigue and open the soundstage.

The new A3t is available with an MSRP of $899 and at a special introductory offer of $810 for a limited time,
